She Went On A First Date With A Guy Who Brought His 11-Year-Old Sister Along And She Feels Weird About Their Closeness

She felt humiliated as Jason’s sister started drawing attention, but Jason took it all in stride.

“Jason managed to calm her down and buy her a new cone,” she said. “All with an unwaveringly warm smile. I was honestly surprised how he did it. It was a little unnerving to me.”

Jason then said they could go to his home and put on a movie, as his sister was exhausted. So, she agreed, and things went great.

Jason’s sister fell asleep, and after he carried her to her bedroom to tuck her in, they were able to spend some quality time alone.

Suddenly, Jason’s sister started having a nightmare and he jumped up to make sure she was alright.

“She apparently wet the bed from fear and was in dire need of comforting,” she continued. “Heck, despite the wet covers, he was sitting beside her, comforting her.”

“The thing that really weirded me out was that when he suggested she take a warm bath, she asked if he could help her again.”

“Granted, he responded that she was a big girl, and that big girls don’t need help from the big brothers bathing anymore. But still, I feel like she only just recently stopped getting help from Jason.”

She felt so uncomfortable that she lied to Jason about having to go home at that point, and Jason didn’t give her a hard time about it.

It’s been a few days since their date, and she has not tried to reach out to Jason, and he hasn’t attempted to contact her either.

“I really like Jason, but IDK,” she added. “I feel really uncomfortable with how close they are and don’t really know how how to address it with him without coming off as an evil stepmom character.”

Do you think she should be weirded out by how close Jason is to his sister?

Honestly, it sounds like he’s a great guy who is doing a wonderful thing by stepping up for his little sister.
