This Instacart Driver Is Literally An Angel: She Went Above And Beyond For An Elderly Customer Then Noticed A Gas Leak In His House

Once she stepped inside the man’s house, Jessica knew what she needed to do. She immediately messaged the man’s daughter, the person who placed the order, and tried to explain that her father might be in a dangerous situation.

“It is very unprofessional of me to say something, and I never talked. I’ve always put the groceries down and leave,” Jessica wrote in the message to the daughter. “But your dad is not doing good, and he looks sick.”

There was a propane tank in the house. Jessica explained that she was five feet away from the tank when she stepped in; soon, she got dizzy. She was sure there must be a leak, and the man was affected by it.

After reading the message, the daughter sent her son to check up on the house. A comment Jessica received the following day from this daughter had proven her concerns.

“Thank you so much. Once my son checked on my dad, it turned out it was leaking,” the daughter wrote. “You saved my dad and my younger son’s life!!!”

Her video hit 17.6 million views and four million likes. In addition, thousands of people went to her page and expressed their appreciation for her kind action.

“Please don’t say that you are ‘just’ an Instacart worker. You are important,” one comment wrote. “And you are amazing.”

“You were his angel placed in that situation for a reason,” another comment wrote. “Thank you for trusting that feeling!”

Jessica’s experience has delivered a valuable lesson; that one kind gesture or one further step could make an absolute difference in someone’s life.
