Oddly enough, she decided to discuss this situation with a mutual friend, only to find out that her best friend had been planting a seed for some time, and with horrible intentions.
Apparently, her best friend pushed for her and her husband to have an open relationship solely because her best friend wanted to shoot her shot.
When confronting her best friend about the matter, things took a turn for the worst. Her best friend accused her of being worried for no reason since her best friend said it wasn’t like she was trying to marry him and have kids with him; she was only interested in a hook-up.
Leaving angrily, she told her best friend never to speak to her again. Their mutual friends agreed that it was the best option for her happiness, as being friends with a lying, manipulative person is not something they recommend.
Looking back, she is hurt by the situation. She feels terrible even though her best friend clearly had a malicious plot against her.
She’s currently wondering if the pain of losing someone so close to you is worth it? Will it ever go away?
