Her boyfriend’s work life is really hectic, and he thinks that if she is also working in the same industry as he does, her schedule is also going to be chaotic which isn’t ideal for him.
“He wants me to work a job where I will always be home for him to come back to when he gets back from his work trips,” she said.
“His argument is that I kind of sprung this on him, which I totally understand. He entered this relationship when I was in school and never mentioned wanting to become a flight attendant because I really hadn’t been inspired to apply before being so exposed to what a fascinating lifestyle it is.”
Now, her boyfriend is begging her to not accept this job at all. He insisted that there are tons of different things she can do in her life and this is “the first good thing” that has moved her way.
Regardless of her boyfriend’s feelings, she wants this job. This job is looking like a dream opportunity for her and it touches on all of the things she loves, like interacting with people.
“I will see him a lot less at first and have to be on reserve for years, so I really just don’t know what to do,” she concluded.
