Tasha’s mom had no clue that she had already spoken to Tasha to make sure that she did not feel bad that Maya got one of her dresses and she didn’t.
“Tasha’s mom, not knowing that I talked to Tasha, says Tasha is depressed and offended,” she continued.
“She also wants a special dress from Auntie’s closet or auntie should buy her a dress so she feels special too. I tell her no, because lies, then she admits that she can’t afford the dress Tasha wants.”
So Tasha’s mom tried to manipulate her into buying Tasha a prom dress and lied to her face about Tasha’s feelings.
Due to the behavior of Tasha’s mom, she doesn’t have any interest in buying Tasha a prom dress, even though she can afford to do that.
