She Sold Her Old Prom Dress Online But Now The Woman Who Purchased It Wants A Refund

Luckily, the woman actually lives right close to where she does, so it was easy for her to make it over and get the dress before she left for her trip.

“I mentioned the small dirt spots when I passed her the dress but she basically just nodded and gave me the money and left,” she said. “She did not do a close inspection prior to actually buying it.”

Right after she left for her trip, the woman messaged her again to say that she was disappointed that the dress was in fact “dirty.”

Additionally, she was upset that the dress didn’t fit her daughter nicely at all, and she asked if she could return it for a full refund.

She really felt that it was such a production to sell her dress in the first place that she does not want to give this woman a refund, let alone allow her to return the dress.

She did not clearly say that her dress was final sale if purchased, though she thought that was pretty much a given.

This woman does know her sister, and this woman does know where she lives, so that gives her pause when considering what she should do to handle this appropriately.

Do you think she should give this woman her money back and take back her prom dress, or should she tell this woman it’s a final sale?
