She Went Viral For Pointing Out All Of The Controversial Rules She Makes Her Boyfriend Follow

Have you ever mentally made a list of all the rules you’ve put in place for your boyfriend?
Some things like, “Don’t talk to other girls when I’m not there,” or “No texting your ex, under any circumstances.”
Sometimes as partners, we’ll think of these rules but never bring them up that often because we don’t want to be keepers of our boyfriends, or drive them away.
Well, a recent TikTok trend broke those patterns when creators began posting videos explaining their written-down list of ‘boyfriend rules.’
A TikTok creator who goes by the name @thefreakshowcircus has gone viral for the extensive and controversial list of rules she has for her boyfriend.
Some are a little lighter than others, but all of them are to be taken seriously.
“Disclaimer: almost every single one of my boyfriends has followed these rules,” she says in one of her videos.
This ought to be interesting.

One of her most viral list of boyfriend rules, is the “Instagram edition” list. It addresses a lot of pet-peeves girlfriends often have with their boyfriends on social media.
One of the rules involves blocking every single woman the boyfriend has had any kind of intimate relationship with on the app.
Another extreme and/or controversial one is that the boyfriend cannot follow new women on Instagram once he and his current girlfriend are dating.
“Period. I don’t want to give an explanation,” she continued in regard to that rule.
Another Instagram rule gets a little technical, when the creator says that there should not be more than one picture of a girl in every scroll of the IG explore page.
“You wanna know how I know?” she asks her followers. “Because one time, I asked a guy to stop [looking at the photos], and he did.”
“Then for the duration of our entire relationship, there wasn’t one girl on his explore page.”
Surprisingly, she has lots of people against her methods on TikTok, claiming that she is projecting her insecurities onto her boyfriend’s behavior.
Yet, it sure is fascinating to watch these “boyfriend rules” lists. So how about it, would you write down a list of rules?
