This Pair Of Roommates Moved To Amsterdam And Found Love With Their Next Door Neighbors

Have you ever dreamed of moving to Europe and finding “the one?” Well, meet the real-life Emily in Paris.

A young woman named Julia Biala recently moved to Amsterdam with her best friend. Besides all of the gorgeous scenery, history-packed museums, and exuberant nightlife, the pair became even more excited after realizing they lived next to “two hot neighbors.”

Julia and her roommate did not want to let this movie-like romantic opportunity pass them by. So, the pair embarked on a journey to connect with the neighbors and recounted the entire endeavor for TikTokers everywhere in a now-viral video.

“We did not have our neighbors’ number. So, we put a little sign on our window,” Julia narrated while showing a piece of paper that read, “Hi! How are you?”

The neighbors eventually replied with a simple “good,” and the girls were ecstatic.

Then, they decided their next step was to initiate a friendship.

“Let’s be brave. Hopefully, they do not think we are weird,” Julia wrote while showing a “Wanna be friends?” window sign.

Thankfully, the boys were actually very receptive to the offer. They ended up opening their window to talk and even invited the pair of roommates over.

The girls contemplated the safety risks of going over to a random neighbor’s apartment. But, they decided “no risk” equals “no fun” and promised to post a follow-up video about the hangout.

This TikTok alone reached 64 million people, gained 9.3 million likes, and spurred over forty-six thousand comments. Numerous viewers were nervous about the girls’ safety and begged for a check-in video.

Thankfully, Julia did not disappoint and shared how the meet-up actually went amazingly well.

“Luckily, we were not kidnapped, and they were super nice!” Julia began in her follow-up TikTok.

“…We danced and played Mario Kart until 3 a.m.,” Julia continued.

The get-together actually went so well that the girls considered asking them on a date. But first, they enlisted the TikTok community for their opinions.

“Yes, girl, date them!” commented one supportive user.

“You better go!” agreed a second user.

Julia did not share much more about her neighbors until two months later, when she claimed to have an “excellent development.”

After the group got to know each other, the girls did ask the boys out on dates.

“This is how it’s going so far,” Julia said while sharing numerous clips of exciting outings like picnics and gondola rides.

“We have so much fun spending time together and already went on a couple of dates,” Julia said.

She has also asked the TikTok community for more date suggestions and promised to keep viewers updated on the romantic journey.

This last video reached over four hundred thousand people and gained sixty-one thousand likes.

“Sis, you are living in a Wattpad story, omg!” commented one awe-struck user.

“This is so cute,” added another user.

Many TikTokers also suggested some awesome date ideas for the group– including skydiving, concerts, a game hall, and more.

Can you imagine moving to a new country and immediately finding love? Do you think the group’s encounter was coincidental or meant to be?
