“She still wanted to wear the dress so she asked if she could host an after party at our place for her friends and others from the school.”
“Because I’m proud of her for doing so well academically, I said yes.”
When her husband found out about her letting Anna throw an after prom party, he was not happy about it at all.
While he is on the same side that she is, and he does not think Anna’s school was telling them the truth about Anna bullying another girl, he’s not ok with teens going crazy and partying in his house.
Her husband doesn’t think it’s safe to allow Anna and her friends to have a wild night in, and although she gets where her husband is coming from, she wants Anna to have the night of her dreams.
She fully intends to make sure Anna and her friends follow a couple of rules, such as no drinking or other substances.
“Anna has been waiting for this for a long time, and with her grades, she has more than earned it,” she continued.
“I think it’s a fair thing to do to let her have the party.”
