A Viral TikTok Jean Hack Has Been Debunked For Not Working On All Body Types 

“I am here to tell you that the hack is not true for all bodies! If you are like me– and you have an apron belly– this little hack is not for us, ladies,” Allison began.

“Debunked! Not true for everyone.”

And according to many commenters on Allison’s TikTok, the trick has never worked for them, either.

“I agree. I have never had this work. When I was super skinny, they would be too big. And now, they are two sizes too small,” wrote one user.

“Correct. I don’t even have an apron belly, and nope– it does not work,” agreed a second user.

“Yep! It ALL depends upon what the jeans RISE is! Waistbands on the high-waisted, mid-rise, and low-rise jeans are all different!” suggested a third.

So, if you were considering using this supposed jean hack during your next trip to the mall, it might be best to hit the dressing room anyway and truly check if the garments fit you.
