“I replied by saying that she was the one who cut contact with me and I wasn’t obligated to help her. She called me rude names and said that I was the reason she wasted all her time and that she would’ve 100% warned me.”
She ended the call, and Emily did not attempt to reach out to her after that. She did decide to turn to her parents for some insight into everything, and they agree that it wasn’t her business to issue a warning to Emily.
Although her mom and dad agree with how she handled everything, she feels terrible. She knows John is a really bad guy, and if she was Emily, she would have loved to have a warning, but she didn’t think it was ok for her to do that.
