Apparently, though, the kids claimed that they had discussed the decision to cut contact extensively with each other. Moreover, their plan was always to just hold out until they were 18. And to this day, they have no desire to be around his ex or the other guy because they believe his ex had destroyed the family.
So, he ended up telling his children that they are adults who can make up their own minds.
“And if that’s their decision, I won’t pressure them to change it,” he said.
Following this whole ordeal, though, he also decided to tell his sister about what had happened. But to his total surprise, his sister claimed that his son was actually being unfair. Plus, she even claimed that he needed to force his son to invite his ex to the wedding.
So now, with the event just around the corner, he has been left wondering if refusing to take his ex-wife to his son’s wedding is the wrong thing to do or not.
