Everyone loves a good full-circle moment– and that was exactly how Zach decided to propose to Julie in 2016. The Arizona Cardinals tight end initially met Julie, the U.S. women’s soccer team player, while attending a baseball game at Stanford University in 2012.
Then, four years later, the pair was ready to take their relationship to the next level. And what better place to pop the question than where they first met? Zach ended up proposing on the same Stanford University baseball field, and he and Julie finally tied the knot in Santa Clara, California, in 2017.
The pair have now been together for a decade and cheer each other on throughout every high and low. Julie was there when Zach stole the Super Bowl title in 2018, and Zach was there when Julie competed in the 2019 World Cup.
