It came out that he really wanted to make up with Lucy because he did not want the girl to hate him. So, in an attempt to be understanding, she then told her boyfriend that he should do whatever he wanted.
“But to be aware of how uncomfortable Lucy made me feel by accusing me of being a bully when she has no idea what the situation was,” she added.
After she said that, though, her boyfriend accused her of making him feel like he’s “trapped” and “in a cage” because he cannot make up with Lucy. Plus, her boyfriend even admitted that he planned to make up with Lucy regardless of how she felt.
That’s why she’s now been left wondering whether her feelings about the situation are valid and how she should move forward in her relationship.
