Yet, his parents still wanted him to include the rest of his family on the trip. And that simply was not possible since he made the reservations a whole year ago and paid for the trip already.
“But, my sisters are still adamant that I could just change the trip from a Disney Cruise to a stay at Walt Disney World using my Disney Vacation Club points, and it will just ‘cost a little bit more,’ and that ‘I can afford it,'” he vented.
However, keep in mind that he has seven nieces and nephews who are all between the ages of 9 and 15. So, along with his parents, sisters, and brothers-in-law, he would be footing the bill for 7 adults and 8 children!
That’s why he is really not on board with paying for his whole family to go on a vacation.
Still, ever since he got called out by his sisters, he’s been left wondering whether taking his daughter on an expensive vacation without inviting the rest of his family was actually a jerky thing to do.
Does he have a right to take his daughter on a solo vacation over the summer? Why would he need to invite his entire family and be expected to foot the bill? How do you think his sister even found his travel folder in the first place? Did she have a right to broadcast his travel plans to his whole family?
