She’s Breaking Down How You Can Make A Normal Braid Or A French Braid With Your Hair

You can tie off (or braid!) one half of your hair to keep it out of the way as you work on the other half. So on one side of your hair, grab a section at the front of your head.

Separate it into three strands and braid it one time. Next, take A and B and cross them over C, then stop.

This part is where it gets confusing. Before crossing section B over to C, you need to grab an additional piece of hair from the rest of your head.

Whenever you cross an outside piece over the middle, you need to add more hair. Keep doing it until you reach the nape of your neck. Don’t get discouraged! I cannot stress enough that this method of braiding takes a ton of practice.

Once you reach the nape of your neck, make sure you keep the braid super tight, or else you’ll be left with a little pouch of hair at the back after finishing up. Then, for the rest of your hair, continue braiding it like a normal braid. At the end, again, go ahead and loosen it up for a fuller look.

Over time, you will become a professional hair braider; I have no doubt about it!
