Not to mention, whenever it is his turn to take a half-day on Fridays, his colleague constantly procrastinates.
He claimed that the guy just sits on his phone the entire morning and only does any work when management explicitly asks for something.
And since his colleague doesn’t finish any work, he’s not able to complete his.
“My colleague starts doing his work past lunch, then I can normally leave an hour before closing time,” he said.
“This has been happening since I started working here almost three years ago.”
So, he understandably started to become pretty frustrated about losing his half-days while his colleague never suffered any consequences.
That’s why, this Friday, he decided to get some revenge.
Management– his colleague’s father– was not in the office, which is why he decided to do absolutely nothing.
His colleague kept asking him for his work throughout the entire day, but he just kept claiming to be really busy. Then, he swore he would get to it as soon as he could.
Now, he realizes that he was acting petty.
“And I do feel really bad for doing this and stealing time with his son,” he vented.
