She Called Her Husband A Selfish Brat Since He Doesn’t Want To Go On A Family Cruise To Celebrate Their Son Graduating From High School

Graduating from high school is an exciting achievement. Taking a trip with your family to celebrate can make the accomplishment all the more memorable.
This 44-year-old woman and her husband have been married for 25 years and have two children together.
Their daughter graduated from high school last year, and she pleaded with her mom to plan a trip to Mexico to celebrate her graduation with a few friends, as well as their families.
“Another mom and I agreed to rent a house and take everyone for a week,” she said.
She funded the entire trip, while her husband didn’t pay for anything. However, he was still going with them to Mexico.
The plan was to drive the 12 hours to Mexico, leaving at midnight so that the kids could sleep a lot of the way there. They would then arrive at the perfect time to check into the house they’d be renting for the week.
“My husband threw a fit like a two-year-old. He didn’t want to go. He said he hates the beach and refused to participate for most of the trip,” she explained.
She drove for almost the entire trip, and when she asked him to take over driving because she was exhausted, he only drove for half an hour before complaining that he was too tired to keep driving.
“He literally sat in the rental house pouting for almost the entire week we were there,” she shared.

This year, their son is graduating high school, and he wants to do a family cruise to celebrate.
However, her husband doesn’t want to go on the trip. He told her that she’d be angry with him the entire time like she was in Mexico.
Now, her husband is “throwing a fit” because he’s not interested in going on a cruise and wants to stay home. She told her husband that their son gets to choose what to do to celebrate his graduation.
Then, she reminded her husband that this trip wasn’t about him, telling him that he was acting like a “selfish brat.”
Since this argument with her husband, she’s debating on whether she should let him stay home or if she should try to make him come along on the cruise.
