Her Stepsister Was Shocked After Getting Removed From Her Stepdad’s Will, But She Pointed Out How Her Stepsister Just Treated Him Like Garbage And A Wallet For Years
This woman has three siblings.
Her half-sister is 16, her stepbrother is 24, and her stepsister is 21.
Over the past six to eight years, her stepsister has been living with her biological mother.
In her view, her stepsister’s mother is insane and lies to her stepfather constantly.
Throughout the last several years, her mother and stepfather have attempted multiple times to convince her stepsister to visit them at their summer house. They wanted to try to include her since she had made the decision to live with her mother, and they didn’t see her too often.
Each summer, she gave excuses, claiming that she was busy with cheerleading and would be unavailable.
However, her stepsister coincidentally always seemed to have the time to go on vacations abroad or on fancy cruises.
“A few years ago, I brought this up to her and asked what her deal was. She told me that my stepdad abandoned her and never came out to see her, and she asked why she should put in the effort when he doesn’t,” she said.
Hearing this from her stepsister angered her because she didn’t think this interpretation was accurate. Her stepfather didn’t move away from her stepsister once he got divorced. His ex-wife moved out, so it’s not like her stepfather lives far away.

During the conversation, her stepsister didn’t provide her with specific examples of how her father wasn’t trying to make time to focus on her.
From what she has witnessed, her stepfather has been working his hardest to support his family so that they can have a wonderful life, and he is trying to make enough money to leave his children with some of his inheritance when he passes away.
Later, she informed her stepfather of the reasons that her stepsister listed as to why she wouldn’t spend time with the family at the summer house. She noticed the hurt on her stepfather’s face and in his eyes, and from then on, he did even more to try to rekindle a relationship with her stepsister.
In 2021, her stepsister graduated from high school and took a two-week trip to Mexico as a celebration.
Her stepfather was invited along on the trip, but he couldn’t make it for the first week due to his work schedule.
He was available to make the second week of the trip, though.
“My mom and sisters went, and my stepsister went off on her own for three days, only coming back at night, refusing to hang out with my mom or sister. On the fourth day, she went to my mom and said, ‘I miss my boyfriend,’ and demanded my mom send her home. My mom tried to convince her to stay but to no avail, so she went home,” she explained.
This event was more than her stepfather could cope with. He gained clarity and accepted the reality that no matter how hard he tried to have a relationship with her stepsister, she wasn’t willing to allow it to happen.
After that, he gave up on making an effort with her stepsister.
The only times her stepsister contacted her stepfather was when she wanted to ask him for money so that she could go on lavish vacations.
Her stepsister has a child and, for a couple of days, was visiting the same state that her parents lived in.
Sadly, her stepsister didn’t reach out to let her parents know that she was in the same state until the day that she was leaving.
Her stepfather drove six hours to see her stepsister, and when he texted her to ask her where she was, she didn’t respond. He called her, but she didn’t answer. Once her stepsister left to travel back home, she finally opened her stepfather’s text message.
After that, her stepfather wasn’t emotionally exhausted and didn’t want to waste any more of his energy on her stepsister anymore.
Last week, her stepfather decided to remove her stepsister’s name from his will. He explained that since his stepsister didn’t seem to want to be involved with the family, she also probably didn’t want any of the money he made working hard for his family.
Her stepsister being removed from the won’t affect her at all because her name isn’t listed in her stepfather’s will in the first place.
Once her stepsister learned she was taken out of the will, she was furious.
Not long after that, she received a phone call from her stepsister inquiring about why this happened.
She was baffled and couldn’t believe her stepsister was acting so oblivious about how much she hurt her stepfather. So, she asked her stepsister if she was joking and whether she truly couldn’t think of a reason why her stepfather would do something like that.
Then, she told her stepsister that she shouldn’t act shocked when she only viewed her stepfather “as a wallet” and said that he was a horrible father.
She continued, telling her stepsister that since she hated her stepfather so deeply, she shouldn’t want anything connected to him, including his inheritance money.
“She said, ‘Well, what about your nephew? I’m a single mom, and I need all the help I can get.’ I said, ‘Oh, so your baby daddy up and left. Well, I guess now you know what a father abandoning their child is really like. Maybe you should try apologizing to Dad and maybe form a real family relationship with him,'” she shared.
After she said that, her stepsister hung up on her.
Since all the drama, her stepsister hasn’t reached out to any of her other family members.
