When her husband explained this, he acted as if he was hesitant to share this with her and like he was nervous and uncomfortable.
After that, she grew uneasy about the friendship between her husband and this gas station employee.
According to her husband, he had never met this woman before he started his job at the company across the street.
But in her view, her husband and this woman seemed to bond too quickly within the short amount of time that they’ve supposedly known each other.
She also feels uneasy because she has never seen this woman when she’s gone to this gas station herself.
As time has gone on, this woman has been putting in even more effort to buy their daughter nice clothes, gifting them children’s clothing from pricey brands like LL Bean and Carter’s.
She eventually let her husband know that she didn’t like this situation, felt uneasy about it, and thought it was strange.
“I’m starting to question the nature of their relationship (because he’s been working more hours, which could be unrelated, but who knows because his paychecks aren’t reflecting it),” she shared.
“My friend thinks I’m a jerk because ‘It’s obvious your husband is obsessed with you. I highly doubt he would cheat,’ but I’m truly not sure at this point.”
From her perspective, she doesn’t understand why a woman would go above and beyond in order to make kind gestures like this for a man who was married.
The only reason she can fathom why a woman would do something like this is because the man indicated to her that he was romantically interested in her.
