Her Mom Kept Telling Doctors She Would Be An Unfit Mother, And She Later Found Out That Her Mom Was Trying To Get Custody Of Her Unborn Baby
This 26-year-old woman is engaged to her fiancé, who is 24. She is also currently 36 weeks pregnant.
And ever since she was 24 weeks along, her mother has tagged along to nearly every prenatal doctor’s appointment– whether she liked it or not.
At her last visit, her mother seriously overstepped, too. In fact, her mom actually told the doctor that she would be an unfit mother due to her disabilities. She has FASD and Bipolar Disorder.
Now, to be clear, she was adopted, so her mother did not play a role in her having FASD. And aside from that, she feels like her mom’s statement was completely untrue.
“I am perfectly capable of being a good mom, and my fiancé has been an amazing support throughout the entire pregnancy,” she explained.
“We have everything set up and ready for our little one.”
That’s why, following her mom’s rude remark, she claimed that her mom was no longer welcome at any more doctor’s appointments.
But after she did that, her mom told her entire family, and everyone began ganging up on her.
Her family first accused her of overreacting. They also claimed that her mother should “get to be a part” of the excitement.

Still, she didn’t budge, and now, her mom has been directly ignoring her boundaries by just showing up at her doctor’s appointments without her consent!
“I feel sick. She keeps pushing and pushing as if boundaries do not matter,” she said.
Her mom also wound up calling her more recently, so she again reiterated that her mom was not welcome. Plus, she threatened to cut contact completely if her mom disrespected her wishes again.
However, the real kicker came when she spoke to her aunt afterward. Apparently, she found out that her mom was actually overstepping all this time in an effort to get custody of her unborn baby.
This pushed her to finally block her mom on everything. And the next time that she went to a doctor’s appointment, she had her mom escorted out of the building by security upon showing up.
“I was also told by the doctor that someone canceled my appointment last week, and it was indeed my mom due to her not being available that day,” she revealed.
“I am heartbroken, but it is a huge relief that she will not be around anymore.”
It has since been noted on all of her medical records that her mother is not to be informed about anything or allowed near her family.
But while this does make her feel a bit better, ever since she found out the truth from her aunt, she still can’t get over her mom’s actions and intentions.
“I hadn’t even considered my mom would try to take custody,” she vented.
