He Wants A Divorce After His Wife Falsely Accused Him Of Harming Their Infant Daughter, But Everyone Thinks He Should Forgive Her
Three years ago, this 28-year-old man got married to his 27-year-old wife. They first met back in grade school, and over the years, they have come to know every single thing there is to know about one another and their respective families.
Two months ago, when he arrived home one day, he saw his wife and their infant daughter on the couch.
He went to say hi to them and realized his wife was asleep and his daughter clearly needed her diaper changed.
He didn’t want to wake up his wife to change their daughter’s diaper since his wife never falls asleep prior to 9 p.m. unless she’s exhausted or had a crazy day.
He picked up his daughter, brought her to her room, and put her on the changing table. As he was changing her diaper, his wife woke up and walked into the room two minutes later.
He said hi to his wife, who simply stared at him, stared at their daughter on the changing table, and proceeded to fly into a rage while physically attacking him.
“I was stunned for like a second, and instinct kicked in, and I leaned over my daughter to protect her,” he explained.
“My wife was shouting while hitting me, how could I, how could I, over and over again, and that I’m a monster. I had no idea at the time what she was talking about, and [that] morning [when] I left, everything was as good as it could be.”
“She then ran out [of] the room, like 5 minutes later, 3 police officers had me in handcuffs, and my wife [was] going crazy that she caught me [assaulting] my daughter. I was speechless at that moment and couldn’t believe what she was saying.”

He asked his wife what on earth she was talking about, as he was only changing their daughter’s diaper and nothing else, but his wife claimed she witnessed him doing something else.
Regardless, he was arrested, though luckily, there is a camera in their daughter’s room. The police reviewed the camera footage, which only depicted him changing a diaper. Nothing else.
He was released, and there is absolutely no other evidence supporting the insane claims his wife made.
He can’t overlook his wife physically attacking him without reason, let alone the fact that she would accuse him of such a disgusting and untrue thing that he would never do.
After his release, he said nothing to his wife. In the aftermath, she has been texting and calling him incessantly to apologize, but he has not talked to her.
The instant his wife stood in front of him and told police officers that he harmed his daughter, all of the love he had for his wife left his body.
He’s left feeling like he has a void inside of him, and that’s it.
“I had her served with divorce papers a week ago, and now everyone is constantly harassing me from my family, her family, and our friends to talk to her and try counseling to sort this out,” he said.
“She can get counseling if she wants, but I will not be involved. I am going for full custody of my daughter.”
And it looks like he will win full custody like he wants since his wife’s attack was caught on camera, along with her baseless accusations.
Every single person he knows insists divorcing his wife is the nuclear option, and they’re upset he’s ripping their daughter away from her mom.
By the way, his wife has no history of mental illness and has never been diagnosed with anything.
“But nobody can give me a reason as to why she did what she did,” he continued. “She herself, in the 374 messages, hasn’t given me an explanation as well, just constant sorry, and we can go for marriage counseling and individual counseling again.”
“I’m just worn down at the moment as the gravity of everything is hitting me. What should I do? Everyone is on her side, what am I missing?”
