It didn’t make sense to her that her dress wouldn’t have worked for the wedding because she wasn’t showing too much skin.
“Her mom kept shooting me nasty looks throughout the night, though she never said anything outright again,” she shared.
After the incident, she still doesn’t know what to think. She wonders if she received this reaction since she doesn’t wear dresses when she gets together with her friends. Most of the time, she wears jeans and sweaters to hang out.
She has no idea why Jill’s mother was so upset with her outfit choice, especially considering the fact that other women were wearing nice dresses, too.
