This 29-year-old woman recently tied the knot with her husband, James, who is 33. However, her 35-year-old sister-in-law, Tracy, caused her big day to turn upside down.
For some context, Tracy is a single mom with a great job but was actually a member of her bridal party. So, she and her husband tried to accommodate Tracy as much as they could to help cut down associated bridesmaid costs.
“We paid for a very nice room in our hotel so Tracy doesn’t have to drive back at the end of the night, and we, of course, paid for her outfit, accessories, hair, and makeup for her and her daughters,” she recalled.
Yet, while she was getting ready for the ceremony with the rest of her bridal party, her sister-in-law started to throw a bit of a temper tantrum. Tracy couldn’t stop talking about how her “baby brother” was tying the knot first and claiming that it should have been her day.
Now, she tried to just ignore Tracy’s outbursts and crying because she didn’t want to let the drama ruin what had actually been her big day.
Still, that was far from the end of the issues Tracy caused, and the next problem actually involved her guest list.
Apparently, Tracy has two daughters, and each of the young girls has a different father. At one point during the reception, she and her husband both noticed that a stranger was sitting at her sister-in-law’s table.
At the time, she asked Tracy about it, and her sister-in-law assured her that one of the girl’s fathers had just shown up to pick up his daughter.
“But now that the wedding is over, we found out that Tracy decided to invite both dads without telling us!” she revealed.

Thankfully, they had gone with a buffet option at the reception, so there was still enough food for everyone. However, she knows that the two guys took full advantage of the open bar they were offering.
Then, the father of Tracy’s eldest daughter got so drunk that he decided to go in the pool at the hotel– which she and her husband paid for her sister-in-law to even stay at.
“And he left broken beer bottles there and fought with the staff,” she explained.
When the staff told her about what happened, they were actually very kind to her. But her husband still had to apologize on the guy’s behalf and pay for all of the damages.
All of the disrespect pushed her husband to go low-contact with his sister following the wedding, too. She, on the other hand, thinks they’re entitled to an apology from Tracy.
Still, she’s not sure if expecting Tracy to apologize for the chaos at their wedding is too much to ask.
How would you feel after your sister-in-law caused so many problems on your wedding day? Is she entitled to an apology? What would you do in her shoes?
