I feel like sharing your location with someone is a milestone in any relationship and a step that some don’t even take, depending on how private of a person you are.

For this 23-year-old man, he has never liked sharing his location with anyone, as he doesn’t like being tracked at all. He thinks it’s weird.

Several years ago, he met and became close to his 24-year-old female friend, but not that long ago, their friendship turned into something more.

Since St. Patrick’s Day, they began sleeping together. He has been interested in his friend for some time, and everything fell into place that day.

They still are friends, nothing more, and he’s unsure right now if they’re heading into a place of labeling things as boyfriend and girlfriend.

Then, his friend asked him to share his location with her. He informed her that he’s not into sharing that information, and she then dismissed the rest of the conversation.

Yesterday, they went out to a bar to celebrate the birthday of their mutual friend. They had a couple of drinks, and at one point, he hugged her and asked if she would come back to his place that evening.

She replied that she most likely wouldn’t be doing that, which prompted him to inquire if she was angry with him.

“She told me she doesn’t feel like [sleeping] with me anymore,” he explained. “I asked her if this was about the location thing, and she said, “I don’t think it’s asking a lot for you to share your location with me if we’re sleeping together. I’m the one taking all the risks…and you can’t even do this for me.”
