“I was eating a flan, which is sweet and caloric but not bad to eat very occasionally,” she recalled.
“My stepsister made a face when she tried to try it, and commented that I should ‘watch my weight.’ This was the tipping point. I told her that I’ve asked multiple times not to talk about how I look.”
She asked how her stepsister would like it if everyone constantly commented on her appearance, and she said she wouldn’t mind.
So, that’s when she decided to turn the tables and bring up her stepsister’s surgery at the table, telling her that her old bust was too small.
After that, the dinner became very awkward, with her stepdad furious at her behavior. She and her boyfriend eventually left, and now her stepsister has posted mean things about her online.
Was she wrong to say those things about her stepsister, or did she deserve it?
