She Took Her Date To Court Because He Threatened To Slander Her Name And Show Up At Her House When She Didn’t Respond To His Text Messages Quick Enough

It’s best to keep personal information regarding your home address private on a first date to protect yourself from potential harm.
You just never know what someone might do, even if they seem like they’ve got a good head on their shoulders.
TikToker @vanventuredogs quickly learned her lesson about not giving out her address to strangers after her date made threats against her for not immediately replying to his text messages. Ultimately, she took him to court, where he had to deal with the consequences of his actions.
So, she matched with a dental student on a dating app. He lived in the city that she was about to move to and was coincidentally from Pittsburgh, the city that she currently lived in. She thought it was a sign from the universe, so she decided to keep talking to him.
She found out that he actually used to live on the same street in Pittsburgh that she lived on. For their first date, he picked her up at her house, and then they went to the park. They hung out, ate fruit, and had a fun time with each other.
Afterward, he dropped her back off at her place. A couple of days later, he sent her a text message asking if she wanted to hang out again when he was back in Pittsburgh. She agreed, so he texted her once he was back in town.
However, she was at work, so she didn’t see the notification. At her job, the manager was really strict about not having phones out.
After a couple of hours with no response from her, he changed his tune, saying that it seemed like she didn’t want to hang out with him anymore.
When she finally checked her phone, she told him that she was at work and would be done by 11 PM.

By the time she got off her shift, she was exhausted. She ended up falling asleep in her bed. When she woke up, it was two in the morning.
She saw that she had about 20 text messages from him, and they grew increasingly scarier as she scrolled through them.
He threatened to slander her name to the medical school that she had just been accepted into so that she could never be anything but a family medicine doctor.
He also knew where she lived and threatened to go to her place. She called the police and told them about everything that had happened.
The police served him with an arrest warrant to the address they had on file, which was his parents’ address.
They both had to go to court. His whole family showed up, looking extremely upset with him and mad at her.
He was ordered to complete six months of domestic violence courses. After that, she never saw him again.
