This 34-year-old woman’s 35-year-old husband is currently a stay-at-home dad to their two young children, and he used to teach elementary school.
She makes a ton more money than her husband ever did as a teacher, and considering how much childcare costs in this day and age, it just makes more sense for her husband to stay home.
However, when their kids are able to be in school full-time, her husband has expressed his desire to resume teaching.
Not that long ago, one of her husband’s former female students got in contact with him. This girl is now 20, and her husband was her teacher back when she was in the 4th grade.
This girl was hands-down her husband’s favorite student, and they spent loads of time together. Anyway, this girl reached out to her husband to say thank you for everything that he did for her.
She’s attending college in the city where they live, so her husband invited her over to their home to have dinner with them.
This girl did accept the invitation to have dinner at their house, and the night was actually pretty wonderful all around.
“She’s a very sweet girl; he and her were clearly thrilled to see each other; they made such huge impacts on each other,” she explained.
“Our kids loved her and so did I, honestly. When she left, they made a promise to get coffee sometime, and he told her our door was always open to her.”
