This Fuss-Free, No-Bake Layer Cake Made With Swiss Rolls And Marshmallow Peeps Will Save You Some Stress On Easter Sunday

From jellybeans and chocolate bunnies to carrot cake and cute chick cookies, Easter is just the day for loading up on sugar.
But when it comes time to make all the Easter food, your oven is probably occupied with cooking the ham and side dishes.
It’s okay to admit that prepping for Easter can be a bit much. That’s why you should take shortcuts when you can.
So, give yourself and your oven a rest by whipping up an easy, fuss-free, no-bake dessert to round out the meal.
In a video that has gained 2.9 million views, TikToker Patty Carrillo (@pattyysea) is sharing her recipe for a layer cake that is reminiscent of an outdoor Easter egg hunt.
The cake is made with Swiss Rolls, Cool Whip, chocolate pudding, coconut flakes, and pretty spring colors.
You can put it together while everything else cooks. Just because you’re saving time, energy, and space with this no-bake recipe, it doesn’t mean that you’re sacrificing taste or quality. It’s as deliciously sweet as anything you could bake. Here’s how to fix the festive dessert.
Start by slicing Swiss rolls into small pieces to cover the bottom of a glass serving bowl. The Swiss rolls will be the first layer of the dessert.
Next, dump a box of instant chocolate pudding into a container of whipped cream topping. Mix it thoroughly. Then, scoop the mixture on top of the Swiss rolls and spread it evenly.

In a separate bowl, combine coconut flakes and several drops of green food coloring. Mix until the coconut flakes have turned bright green to look like grass.
If you’re not a fan of coconut, you can crush up some Golden Oreos mixed with green food dye to use as the grass.
Afterward, arrange Robin Eggs candies on top of the layer of chocolate pudding. Add the coconut flakes on top, making sure that they conceal the candies and pudding.
Finally, decorate the cake with marshmallow bunnies, chicks, and more egg-shaped candies. The result will be almost too adorable to eat but utterly irresistible all at once.
Dig in and enjoy your sweetest Easter Sunday yet!
