She Wouldn’t Wear The Wedding Dress Her Stepsister Handmade For Her, So She Got Scolded By Her Father The Day After She Tied The Knot

“I really did not like that dress [and] when I tried it on, I found out it was also about three sizes too big,” she recalled.

“Though I knew I could probably have it altered, I truly did not want to wear that dress on my wedding day. I called Zoey and told her I wouldn’t wear the dress. I said it looked lovely, but [it was] not the style we’d agreed on, and I thought it would be best for me to find a different dress. I offered to pay her for her work, but she declined and hung up on me.”

Thankfully, she got a dress she loved at a retail bridal store before her wedding that hardly needed any altering. She was extremely lucky to have found a dream dress in such a short time.

On the day of her wedding, she happily walked down the aisle in her dress but couldn’t help but notice the dirty looks Stella was giving her throughout the evening. When she spoke to Stella and Zoey that night, they were very short with her.

The next day, her dad and Stella called her to scold her for how she treated Zoey.

“This had been her first time making a wedding dress, and [she was] excited to see me wearing it,” she added.

“They said it was insulting of me not to wear the dress she’d put so much effort into. I tried to explain why I didn’t wear the dress, but they’re insisting the dress was beautiful, and I could have sucked it up.”

Should she apologize to Zoey, or are her dad and his girlfriend being unreasonable?
