When you walk down the aisle and say “I do,” you’re committing to loving your spouse in sickness and in health, through thick and thin. So how would you feel if you lost weight, and your partner suddenly started giving you more love and affection than ever before?
That’s essentially what happened to this woman, who was quite thin when she first met her husband. Then, after they dated and tied the knot, they started their family and had a few kids.
Following her pregnancies, she also gained some weight. She’s around five feet five and rose to around 150 pounds; meanwhile, her husband always stayed in “good shape.”
It’s now been a year since she set out on a fitness journey, though, and she lost the extra weight quite quickly. Today, she’s 115 pounds, and her relationship with her husband has totally changed due to it.
“Ever since, he’s paid a lot more attention to me, showed me a lot more affection, and is way more cuddly and touchy,” she explained.
Not to mention, her husband has even begun posting photos of her on social media. This is something he’d never done in the past, as he wasn’t active online.
Honestly, his newfound infatuation with her has become a bit overwhelming, too. Apparently, she can’t even walk through her home without her husband trying to immediately hug her.
“Don’t get me wrong, I’m a cuddler, too, but I have recognized lately I’ve been experiencing some mood swings, and I just always feel exhausted,” she admitted.
She spoke to her doctor about this, too, and they attributed her symptoms to her weight loss. She was also told that her moodiness and fatigue would fade over time.

Regardless, she’s been left with a problem that many people would probably wish to have: she wants her husband to stop “distracting” her with all this love so she can get some work done around her house.
“I just don’t like the idea of, ‘Don’t touch me right now, it’s housework time.’ But it’s just constant, and I love the cuddles, but I need to get the house cleaned and dinner cooked as well,” she vented.
Is it a red flag that her husband is only showing her all this love now that she’s “skinny?” How would you react to the major switch-up?
