On her wedding day, TikToker Jenna (@jennalabarre) learned that her husband, John, had disappeared and was nowhere to be found.
He had been out golfing with the wedding party and other close friends on the morning of the wedding.
John and Jenna’s father both left at the same time that morning and had to return early to get showered, dressed, and ready for pictures.
When Jenna’s father got back to the venue, he looked around for John, but he wasn’t there. So, everyone called and searched for him, trying to figure out where he went.
An hour and a half later, John finally showed up. He had just enough time to take a quick shower and pose for photos. When everyone asked where he had been, he told them that he had gotten lost.
“I guess he took a wrong turn leaving the golf course, which I don’t even know how that’s possible because the golf course was right down the road from the venue, so I don’t even think there was a turn to be taken,” said Jenna.
“But nonetheless, he took a wrong turn, didn’t have his phone on him, so he couldn’t use GPS, and got lost.”
Apparently, he drove around until he found a gas station. They were in a remote area, so there weren’t many gas stations around. Desperate, he asked the attendant for help in finding his wedding venue.
The attendant didn’t know where the venue was, but she was kind enough to pull out her phone and look up the directions. She wrote down the directions for him, allowing him to make it back in the nick of time.

In the comments section, many TikTok users did not believe his story and shared their own theories as to what he had really been doing during the time he was missing.
“He didn’t bring his phone, so you couldn’t track his location. How does one get lost for an hour and a half when he was down the road? Your subconscious knows this doesn’t make sense, which is why you are telling us this story,” commented one user.
“You all thinking he was messing around. I’m thinking he was probably getting cold feet and had to drive around to clear his mind,” pointed out another.
“Were all your friends and bridesmaids present and accounted for during this absence? I’d look into that,” wrote a third.
“My ex-boyfriend found me on my wedding day at the hair salon and asked me if I was sure I wanted to go through with the wedding. I could have had one last time with him if I had been a cheater. Just saying, things can happen, and people lie,” chimed in someone else.
