One of the most interesting stories involving TikToker @desertd0ve’s family features giant skeletons. According to her, she has relatives in Canada who found something truly massive on their property more than two decades ago. The discovery may have rewritten history, if only it hadn’t vanished.
So, these family members had purchased a large plot of land and wanted to alter it slightly to fit their lifestyle. But as they began the work, they unearthed something that stopped them in their tracks.
Naturally, they did the responsible thing and contacted the authorities.
“What they were doing was leveling out the land,” she explained. “There were a lot of hills and dips, and they needed some of it to be level.”
“In this process, they uncovered two 12-foot human skeletons. They ended up notifying authorities because, of course, if you find skeletal remains in your property, you gotta tell it to somebody.”
When the authorities arrived and saw the enormous size of the skeletons, they made a call to someone else. Soon enough, a mysterious second party arrived on the scene. When they got there, they quickly took charge and immediately removed the skeletons from the property.
Her family members have never heard from them again or received any updates about the skeletons. They saw with their own eyes that the skeletons were human and 12 feet long. To this day, it’s unclear what was done with those remains.
“You actually hear about this a lot when anything interesting is found, or any artifact or skeletal remains are found that go against the ‘normal’ timeline of history that we were told,” @desertd0ve said.
“These things just disappear. They’re taken away to be studied, but you never hear of them or see them displayed.”

The strange tale drew fascination in the comments section. Many TikTok users shared their own experiences and family legends about the remains of giants being quietly removed by government agencies or museums.
“My uncle is from Africa, and he said there are giant grave sites in cemeteries all over there. He says North America hides the truth of their existence,” commented one user.
“It makes sense there would be giants. There used to be way larger versions of some of the animals, plants, insects, etc. that we have today due to the higher levels of oxygen in our atmosphere back then,” stated another.
“My grandfather told me when he was a teenager back in the 1940s, some people in town found a 12 or 13-foot skeleton in a cave outside town. He got to see it, but the Smithsonian came and took it away a week or two later, and then nobody heard anything about it after that,” added a third.
