TikToker Stephanie (@_stephanie_965) was with her ex-husband for 22 years. They were both nurses. But after 27 years of nursing, she was burnt out and quit in October 2020.
At the time, she was trying to figure out what do with her life since she had done nothing but nursing. Her husband was also going through a midlife crisis.
In June 2021, they found out that he might have cancer. Two or three weeks later, he got the results from the biopsy, but he refused to talk to Stephanie about it. That’s when she knew that he was seeing someone else on the side.
A couple of weeks later, it was confirmed. He planned on leaving her for this other woman. In August 2021, she began getting stalked and harassed on every social media platform by a woman 25 years younger than her husband.
Every time Stephanie blocked her, she would just make new fake accounts. Stephanie tried to get a restraining order, but the judge felt that she didn’t have enough evidence.
Stephanie also saw this woman post about engagement rings, even though Stephanie and her husband weren’t even divorced yet. Over the past four and a half years, she has continued to stalk and harass Stephanie.
“She has made fake accounts on him and has done some of the most derogatory things to him and to me, yet he still takes her back, and it’s so stupid because she’s so ignorant,” Stephanie said.
“He cuts her off for like three or four months at a time, like he won’t talk to her or anything.”
He talked this woman into going to nursing school, and she is now getting ready to graduate. However, she has never been able to hold down a job for very long.

After having a hip replacement surgery, he called Stephanie and asked her to help take care of him because his girlfriend couldn’t. She cooked him breakfast and ran errands for him.
But later in the day, he announced that he was going out. She kicked herself for taking care of him when he was clearly able-bodied.
On November 10, she finally got custody of their dog. She told him that she wanted him and his girlfriend out of her life. He still claimed never to have cheated on Stephanie, but his anniversary date with this woman is May 2021.
“He hadn’t even left me yet,” Stephanie explained. “I didn’t even know anything about this girl yet. And yet, that’s their anniversary, but they didn’t have an affair?”
“So, he’s talked her into thinking that they didn’t have an affair because we were just roommates. We hadn’t been together in years. We were just still living under the same roof and still married.”
She can’t believe she didn’t see all the red flags before, but her eyes have been opened. Now, Stephanie is moving on. She is focusing on working toward her own goals and dreams.
