While TikToker Krista (@kristasoard) was working as a bank teller six years ago, she ruined a couple’s marriage. One ordinary day, a married couple came into the bank, and the wife expressed concern about their finances.

She explained that money seemed to be disappearing from their bank account, and she didn’t know where it was all going.

They did not have the banking app to check what transactions were occurring, so she wanted to get a print-out of where their money was going.

So, Krista pulled up their account and looked it over, immediately noticing a pattern of transactions. Trying to make sense of it, she asked them if they were into sports betting, and they said no.

Krista revealed that there were many charges from OnlyFans, a website she thought was related to sports. But of course, the wife instantly knew what that was, and she became enraged.

There were several transactions of $25 here and $10 there. The wife asked if the purchases were made with a debit card. Krista revealed the last four digits of the card, and it turned out to be the husband’s debit card.

The whole time, he was glaring at Krista, clearly furious that she had exposed his secret spending. They stepped aside, arguing with each other as the wife looked through the transactions.

She thanked Krista for her help, and the couple went on their way. Afterward, her coworkers asked her what had happened, and she explained.

Hopefully, the wife is living her best life now. Several TikTok users shared similar experiences in the comments section, showing that these kinds of situations are far from rare.

“This exact situation happened to me as a little 20-year-old teller, but they were in their seventies,” commented one user.

“Past bank teller! Older gentleman comes in and says he gave his debit card to his nephew for a week while his nephew was out of town. Comes in a few weeks later, questioning charges. We go to my office, we call with the door wide open, lobby full of customers, on speaker, and it’s an adult phone line. Totally embarrassed me!” exclaimed another.

“I used to be a bank teller, and the amount of charges I would see in customer accounts for OF was astronomical. Along with the amount of overdraw charges that were tied to OF purchases. It was crazy,” added a third.

“My first experience as a banker with OF, I had a guy tell me it was a Chicago Bears fan club. I literally had no clue,” chimed in someone else.

It just goes to show that your bank account can reveal much more than you expect, so be careful about what you’re spending on!
