Last year, TikToker Fiona (@fionamaefit) had a stalker who ruined her life. She originally lived in Dallas, and her dream was to move to Florida and live next to the beach. In February of last year, she and her boyfriend fulfilled her dream and moved to Florida.

They started going to the gym, and within less than a week, a guy kept showing up at the gym to give her flowers, cards, and handwritten notes. He always left them at the front desk.

At first, she thought the gifts were from her followers welcoming her to Florida, but after examining the notes more closely, she realized the way they were written was odd.

The same night she got a weird note, she also received a notification from someone on Snapchat. This guy had messaged her, saying that he had been waiting for her in the gym parking lot in his truck. Luckily, she was with her boyfriend at the time.

As an influencer, she was in the habit of posting everything she did throughout the day in real time, but this allowed her stalker to track her every move.

“I look through the messages that he’s been sending me on Snapchat, and he literally has been sending me photos of our apartment, photos of around our apartment, like literally everything,” Fiona said.

Her stalker believed that they were in a relationship, even though they had never met or talked to each other before. She told the employees at the gym that a guy was stalking her, but they didn’t really do anything about it.

She moved to an expensive private gym, but he found her and continued to stalk her. The workers at the private gym told him not to come back and threatened to call the police. So, he joined the jiu-jitsu gym right next door to stay close to her.

The workers at the private gym told the jiu-jitsu gym workers what was going on, and they canceled his membership. However, he still kept showing up. Fiona moved to another private gym.

“Every single day, he would send me scary messages, finding out where I live, finding out where I’m at, and I had blocked his Snapchat accounts multiple times,” said Fiona.

“I think he made a total of 34 Snapchat accounts to watch my stuff.”

She stopped posting on social media as much and would not leave the house without her boyfriend because she feared for her safety.

Her boyfriend does modeling and has to go on trips once in a while, so she would spend the money to fly back to her parents’ house in Texas while he was gone. She did not want to be home alone.

They ended up moving to a new place with higher rent and security. The cops would come every single night to take her statement. She was terrified, but they didn’t seem to take her concerns seriously.

They told her there was nothing they could do until he physically hurt her or opened her door.

Her stalker was homeless and lived in his car. The police found his car in a Walmart parking lot and served him with a restraining order.

They had to go to court, and he was 40 minutes late. She told the judges that she wanted a three-year restraining order against him, and it was granted.

He broke the restraining order the very next day and every single day after that. She had to move somewhere far away. He ended up getting arrested for abusing his grandparents in Miami. He also has many felonies and was in jail for a long time when he was younger.

Now that her stalker has been brought to justice, her life has significantly improved, and she is able to enjoy herself again.
