About a year ago, TikToker J.K. (@jessokish) had the most terrifying paranormal experience of her life. She woke up at three in the morning, thinking she heard one of her kids yelling for her.
As she lay in bed, trying to come to her senses, she heard her five-year-old son say, "Hey, mommy, can you come here? I need you."
It sounded like he was right outside her bedroom door, which was slightly cracked open. She couldn't see him at all because it was dark.
He continued, saying that he had a bad dream. She told him to come snuggle with her and that he could sleep in her room for the rest of the night. But he was insistent on getting her to come over to him.
She thought his request was odd because he was not the type of kid to linger in the dark. He usually just ran into the room and jumped straight into bed. He kept arguing with her and grew increasingly angry when she refused to come to him.
Eventually, it got to the point where he was screaming outside the door and throwing a fit. He was hitting the door with his fists, but the door never moved.
She sat up in bed and was about to go over to him when she put her hand on the bed and felt her five-year-old already there next to her.
As soon as she touched him, whatever that other thing was stopped. It seemed to have been trying to lure her out of her room in the dark.
In the comments section, many TikTok users described their own creepy paranormal experiences involving their kids.

"One time, I heard my daughter cry 'Mommy' as if she was in my room. The moment I answered, 'Yes, baby?' I froze because I remembered my daughter was at her dad's," commented one user.
"Was convinced it was a mimic until you said you touched him and it stopped. It could very much be astral projection," pointed out another.
"When my son was around one, he needed us to be in the room to fall asleep. We didn't have to hold him, but he needed to know we were there. So, I'd sit in the rocker across the room and say shhh if he stirred. That would calm him. I was about to get up and leave when I thought he was asleep, and from the closet across from me, I heard shhh," shared a third.
"I felt my kid start crawling in bed. I said no, go back to your own bed. Turn around and see nothing. My kid was fast asleep in her own room," added a fourth.
