When TikToker Sonia (@sonia59918) was 11 years old, her Ecuadorian grandmother summoned the devil to come and take her away.
She and her grandmother did not get along. One day, they got into an argument, and her grandmother threatened to call out to the devil to come and take her for three nights.
That night, when Sonia was lying in bed, she heard a strange noise. She looked toward the bedroom door and saw a figure tapping its nails along the door frame.
“From the waist down, it was some kind of an animal; I want to say it was either a goat or a horse,” Sonia said. “From the waist up, it was a jacked man. He was really dark with red glowing eyes and like, a big grin, like an evil smile, staring at me.”
She tried to scream, but she was totally paralyzed with fear. She was so afraid that she passed out. The next day, she woke up and was unsure if it had been a dream or not.
But when she told her grandmother about it, she started laughing. All day in school, Sonia wondered if her grandmother had been messing with her.
The following night, the figure reappeared. She started praying, and it went away. Then, she ran to her grandmother’s room, woke her up, and begged her to let her sleep with her.
Her grandmother refused and forced her to go back to sleep in her own room. The next night, it appeared again.
“I was petrified; I was so scared,” Sonia recalled. “And, I was ready for it to come because at that point, I knew that calling out to Jesus made it go away. So, when it came again, I prayed, and then I ran to her room, and I woke her up.”

Her grandmother finally let her sleep in her room because she was bawling her eyes out. The next day, she went to school. When she came home, there was a priest, and he was blessing the whole house. After that, the figure never returned.
Sonia will never forget this experience, and it was only made more unsettling when considering the eerie, layered family history behind it.
According to the caption of her video, this was the same grandmother who might’ve done witchcraft on Sonia’s mother, causing her to take her own life.
