Minding our own business and staying out of drama is something a lot of us live by. But if you know that someone is cheating on their partner, do you think that rule still applies, or does that person have a right to know about what’s happening behind their back?

A bit more than a year ago, this 32-year-old man got married to his 31-year-old wife, and 10 months ago, they welcomed their baby into the world.

Recently, his wife hasn’t been acting right, and so he went digging through her phone to find some clues. Well, he found a whole lot more than he bargained for.

One week ago, his wife met a man in their neighborhood bar, and he caught her fancy. This guy lives in their area, and the two of them instantly started acting like they were in love!

His wife did go over to this guy’s house, but she didn’t sleep with him. He took copies of all the proof he had of her infidelity, changed the passcode on his own phone to keep her from finding it, located divorce papers online, and printed them out.

His wife could tell he was unhappy about something, and she wanted him to unlock her phone one morning so that she could call her own phone to see where she had left it.

He knew this was all an attempt to go through his phone, and he didn’t give her the new passcode. Later on, she was all over him again to let her have his phone, so he said he would give it to her if she handed over her device.

She hesitated, but did. When he looked through her phone again, he could see she deleted all of the messages she exchanged with her affair partner, but she had forgotten to remove the inappropriate photos she had sent the guy, which were right in her recently shared photos.

He questioned her about the photos, which made her nervous, and she came up with some crazy excuses. He finally whipped out the divorce papers after making her squirm for a bit and told her that he knew about the affair.

“I’m livid, I’m lost, she threw everything away for someone she met like a week ago?…I bought us a house, I’m renovating that house myself after work, and this is what I get in return?” he wondered.

“I can’t stand her, but I’m rethinking filling those papers because of the baby. Sorry for venting. Anyways, I’m agonizing over telling this guy’s girlfriend about everything.”

“She nearly caught them herself when she found my wife’s hair (one is blonde, one is dark-haired). He fed her some [lies], and she bought it, apparently.”

He would hate to ruin another relationship, especially since he saw this guy expressing remorse and saying they were going to hurt too many people.

Well, I don’t agree with him saying he’s going to wreck another relationship, because his wife’s affair partner already did that all by himself.

I think this guy’s poor girlfriend deserves to know, and he should absolutely tell her as soon as possible. Perhaps bringing up the hair or sending her the evidence would be the best way to go about doing this.

Do you think he should tell his wife’s affair partner’s girlfriend about the cheating, or leave her alone?
