Recently, TikToker Monae (@monae_jovial) caught her neighbor cheating on his wife. She ran into him at the public lake in their neighborhood, where she usually goes to clear her mind in the mornings.
Early one morning, she went to the lake and sat in her car for a bit. At first, it was peaceful and uneventful. But then, a car pulled up that looked similar to her neighbor’s. He got out of the car and walked over to another vehicle she had never seen before.
When a woman emerged from the vehicle, she immediately realized that was not his wife. They greeted each other with a hug and a kiss. Monae continued lying low in her own car as she processed what she was seeing.
She waited until they walked past her to the pier before getting out of the car. She walked toward another part of the lake, and that was when her neighbor spotted her.
She doesn’t keep close tabs on her neighbors’ personal lives, so she was about to brush the whole thing off and chalk it up to them possibly being separated until she saw his reaction to being caught.
“And we just so happen to look at each other at the same time, and then he turned his head back so quick and let go of her hand,” recalled Monae.
The split-second reaction said more than anything else. Not even three minutes later, the pair ended up turning around and leaving altogether.
Now, Monae is left with a dilemma that many people in the comments found all too familiar. She doesn’t know whether to tell the wife what she had witnessed or just keep it to herself.
Some people firmly believed that she should stay out of it and move on with her life because outsiders rarely know the whole story.

“I saw my neighbor cheating on his wife every morning years ago, and I never said anything! His wife was really sweet, but it just wasn’t my place, and I didn’t want to involve myself in unnecessary drama. I felt bad, but I said nothing,” commented one user.
“I would mind my business. You don’t know what kind of dynamic they have in their relationship. She may know, but won’t leave, so just mind your business,” stated another.
“Well, my friend found out her other friend’s man was cheating. She asked me if she should say anything. I said yes. That was 25 years ago. They don’t speak to each other. She still stayed with him. So, I was wrong and learned my lesson. Mind your own business,” advised a third.
“I had the same thing happen!! As I was stewing over if I should tell his wife, (a week or so I was thinking about it), she figured it out on her own,” added someone else.
