If you were out in public and overheard a few people talking about cheating on their spouses, would you try to alert their poor, unsuspecting partners?

On April 18th, Elly Kjeldbjerg (@ellywoods1 on TikTok) was having dinner at Schooner Tavern in South Minneapolis when she couldn’t help but eavesdrop on the table next to her.

Elly says she sees videos on TikTok all the time about women overhearing men saying horrible things like they want to cheat while out having dinner, but she never thought she would be living a moment like that.

“Three men sat down at the table next to [my partner and me], and started talking about how they wanted to cheat on their wives,” Elly explained in her video.

“It was so blatant and explicit, I didn’t even know…it sounded like a villain twisting their mustache, it was very bizarre…these two very average looking white men, they were asking this other guy how…how should I cheat on my wife, because apparently he was so practiced and so good at it.”

“The ring leader giving that advice had a star tattoo on his left elbow. Also, it was so loud that night, and I was taking notes as best as I [could], as I was just overhearing all these gross things that they were saying.”

Elly even wrote down details of the descriptions of the men. She says the ring leader also had a chin strap beard and two sleeves of tattoos.

On his left elbow, he had a star that covered his elbow, and he had circle tattoos on his right elbow. Elly says the other two guys weren’t special-looking.

One had on a white, waffle-knit shirt, and the other had a white sweatshirt that said Minnesota Bushmen. Those two other guys were wearing hats. Elly also noted that one man said he would be celebrating his 40th birthday in December.

“They literally were talking about how to take advantage of windows, and like I want to go [hook up] with someone in the parking lot, but, um, there’s not even a parking lot to this tavern, so I don’t know what they’re talking about,” Elly added.

“It was just vile and gross, and it was taking everything in me not to like, turn around and like start something, but I thought it would be more valuable to post about it here so hopefully the wives of these gross men can, uh, react accordingly and do what they want.”

Elly said that again, this happened on Saturday at around 10 minutes to midnight in that restaurant. She’s still so shocked about what those guys said, and she hopes their wives dump them over it.

“OK, guys. I want to see your elbows. I brought some snacks while we wait,” one person commented on Elly’s video.

“Not me sitting in Indiana glaring at my husband’s things,” a second person said.

“You did so good with all the details! Let’s normalize looking out for other women,” another person weighed in.
