After talking for a few days to a guy she matched with on a dating app, TikToker Abby (@abster031) decided to meet up with him for some frozen yogurt.
He lived about 35 minutes away from her. The place he picked was 10 minutes away from him and 25 to 30 minutes from her.
He set up a time for them to meet, but later backtracked because he usually went to the gym at that time. So, he pushed the date back to give himself time to go to the gym.
When she arrived, she saw that he was wearing a white cut-off muscle shirt, sweat shorts, and white socks that were pulled up way too high. He also smelled like sweat, so he clearly hadn’t even showered before their date.
He paid for her yogurt and then suggested they eat in the car when they couldn’t find any seating outside. During the date, he only talked about himself and never asked her a single question.
He talked about going to the gym and football. At one point, Abby zoned out. However, she was jolted back to the present when he suddenly mentioned that she had nice lips.
“I don’t know; it just caught me off guard,” said Abby. “Maybe I was naive. So, he kisses me and then this man tries to swallow my tongue, and I was like, okay, gross…By the way, it’s like 6 p.m. in the middle of summer. It is broad daylight out, and we were in a parking lot with families, so I pull away.”
When she explained all this to him, he told her that they could move to the backseat for some privacy to make out. She said no, but he crawled into the backseat to show her how spacious it was. He kept begging her to come to the backseat, but she stood her ground.
For about five or 10 minutes, he refused to return to the front seat, so they talked to each other with him in the backseat and Abby in the passenger seat. She felt like a mother trying to coax her child. Finally, he came up to the front again.

She knew that this would not go past the first date, and she had nothing else to ask him. She started looking up questions to ask him, but realized she could just leave.
She texted her best friend, but she wasn’t answering, so she also texted her mom, who told her to get up and leave.
She abruptly told him that she had to go mid-conversation. He tried to kiss her goodbye, but her flight instincts kicked in, and she dodged the kiss. Needless to say, Abby ended up deleting him from her contacts and stopped talking to him.
