If you found out that your spouse cheated on you with their ex, who cheated on them, and then got them pregnant, how would you feel?
This woman’s husband split up with his ex after she cheated on him, then got married to her affair partner and had a child with him.
Her husband dated his ex in 2023, and she married him in April of this year. Unfortunately, she found out that her husband had cheated on her with his ex in January or February.
In May, her husband’s ex told him that she was pregnant, and she found out one day later. She was angry and sad at the same time.
“I was on my way to my parents at the time, and it took everything in me not to crash out while driving. He proceeded to tell me that it was a drunk mistake while crying profusely over the phone. I hung up,” she explained.
“I called him back eventually after sorting through my thoughts, and I asked him about the situation, their plan, etc. He filled me in on what they discussed.”
“He told her he was married, that he wouldn’t be with her, and that we (he and I) were moving to a different state in November due to my new job.”
Her husband’s ex said she wouldn’t ask her husband for child support and was willing to have primary custody of their child. The only condition her husband’s ex had was that he had to tell her about the baby, and then she would let him be in the child’s life.
Her husband has stated he wants to be responsible for the child, and she asked to speak to his ex before deciding whether she wants to remain in their marriage or not.
She then texted her husband’s ex to ask her about what she was planning on doing with the baby, and she replied that she felt uneasy speaking to her and not her husband.
She reminded her husband’s ex that if she stays married to him, that means she will also be in the kid’s life. Her husband’s ex said she had to contact her through her husband from now on.
“After that conversation, I showed my husband the texts between her and [me], and I gave him an ultimatum. To me, this just seemed like one big baby trap,” she added.
“I told him that if he decides to take responsibility, I’d leave. Although I don’t mind the baby since I can’t have kids of my own, since she doesn’t seem inclined to have me in the baby’s life, I didn’t want to deal with the hostility that follows and the baby mama drama.”
“He told me that he would give up his rights to the child and shell out the child support if it meant staying with me. Part of me feels guilty that I’m basically asking him to abandon his unborn child. He told me he doesn’t want the child if it means being involved with her, but who trusts a cheater’s word. ”
She does think it’s kind of hilarious that her husband had an affair with the woman who cheated on him and is pleading with her not to walk away.
She is currently married to her husband but living separately while attending couples counseling until the baby is born. Then, they will be getting a paternity test.
She will still be relocating for her career in November, and until then, she’s waiting around to see how this all plays out.
Her move in November could be her fresh start without her awful husband! This guy is truly the worst, and she needs to gather up her self-respect and leave him.
He’s not sorry, and it’s ironic as well as insane that he cheated on her with the woman who did the same thing to him.
