Most relationships have their ups and downs, but some become a vicious cycle that’s impossible to ignore. Promises are made, and families begin to rebuild, only for everything to fall apart all over again.
For TikToker Paisley (@paisleynicholecochran), that cycle repeated itself multiple times before she finally accepted she couldn’t keep living that way anymore.
Recently, she shared the emotional rollercoaster timeline of her relationship, explaining how it ended with financial strain and repeated abandonment.
Just two months into dating her boyfriend, she got pregnant with twins. Then, two months later, she and her boyfriend got engaged. Eventually, their kids were born.
However, when the twins were four months old, Paisley’s fiancé walked out, leaving her with no car, no job, and no money to raise the kids on her own. She became a single mother overnight, struggling to figure out how to survive while caring for newborn twins.
A month later, he decided to come back. Paisley decided to give him another chance, and they proceeded with their relationship as if nothing had happened. They got married when the kids were a year old.
Unfortunately, their fresh start didn’t last long. Three months after they got married, he left again. Paisley filed for divorce and put him on child support. But once again, history repeated itself.
Eight months later, he returned home, saying he wanted to be a family again. So, she dissolved the divorce proceedings and had the child support order removed.
They stayed together for three years and appeared to be creating the stable family life that Paisley had always envisioned. They even moved into a new place and signed the lease.

Then came another devastating blow. He walked out on the day that she found out she was pregnant with their third child.
When she came home from spending seven hours at the hospital, she discovered that he had packed up all his belongings and left. There was no warning or discussion. He was simply gone.
“It was just for him to start dating a 21-year-old little girl a month after he walked out, and she has two kids, and he already has two kids and one on the way,” said Paisley.
“Now, he’s taking care of two kids who aren’t his and paying no child support.”
Meanwhile, Paisley is stuck on a lease paying $2,000 a month for a place to live, along with a car payment she can barely afford because she is a server.
She has finally learned her lesson and broken out of a toxic cycle. While rebuilding her life won’t happen right away, hopefully, this chapter of her life will ultimately lead to a more stable future for her and her three children.
