She Rescued 3 Children That Were Drowning In Lake Michigan

“One of those girls looked at me with so much fear in her eyes and told me she was going to die… I promised her I would not let that happen. I promised her with everything I had in me.”

Alyssa felt her adrenaline surging, and she miraculously managed to pull all of the children out of the water.

I pulled them up the pier wall, with the waves slamming into me and throwing the kids all over the place, pulling with all my might on wet slippery hands, and almost going over the edge myself a few times,” Alyssa said.

“I kept my promise, I was going to do whatever I had to do. I’m beyond thankful I was where I was and that those kids get to live another day.”

Alyssa then pointed out the importance of teaching water safety to your children, as it could potentially save more children from ending up in a situation like this.

Alyssa is the definition of a hero for risking her own life to save those children drowning in Lake Michigan!
