She Went Missing 2 Years Ago And Her Husband Recently Confessed To His Ex-Wife Over Lunch That Her Murdered Her Before Digging Her Grave
Colorado Springs, Colorado. 28-year-old Jepsy Kallungi lived in Colorado Springs along with her husband, Dane Kallungi.
On April 4th, 2019, one of Jepsy’s best friends named Lalaine called the Colorado Springs Police Department to ask that they do a welfare check on her.
Lalaine and Jepsy had been close since childhood, and they spoke all the time.
Lalaine stopped hearing from Jepsy, and Jepsy also went silent on social media. This wasn’t like Jepsy at all, and Lalaine became concerned that something terrible had happened, prompting her to call the police.
Officers headed over to Jepsy’s apartment, but they couldn’t find her anywhere.
They were able to speak to someone who helped to manage the apartment complex, and this person told them that Jepsy had not been to her apartment in several weeks.

Officers then learned that there had been multiple calls made to the Colorado Springs Police Department over the past few weeks from Jepsy’s loved ones asking to have welfare checks on her done.
During each one of those checks, officers had not been able to reach Jepsy.

Officers reached back out to Lalaine to speak with her further, and she revealed a worrisome detail; Jepsy and Dane had gotten separated not that long ago.
The next phone call that officers made was to Dane, and they point-blank asked him where Jepsy was.
Dane replied that he last saw Jepsy at their apartment on March 27th, when she went to spend time with a friend of hers named Gina. He also admitted that Jepsy did leave him over the issues they were having in their marriage.
Dane seemed to be nervous to talk to the police, but at the same time, he didn’t appear to be bothered about the fact that nobody could find Jepsy.

Officers were then able to track down two friends of Jepsy’s who were both named Gina, and those two women had not talked to Jepsy, and they did not know where she was.
As the investigation continued, officers obtained Jepsy’s phone records, and they discovered that the last call she made was on March 20th.
Jepsy had called 911, but then hung up at around 10:29 at night.
In the months that followed Jepsy’s strange disappearance, Dane picked up and moved to California.
Then, around 2 years after Jepsy went missing, Dane came back to Colorado Springs, and he called his ex-wife to ask if he could meet up with her to talk.
Dane’s ex agreed to meet with him over lunch, and what he told her was absolutely shocking. As they sat together in a local restaurant, Dane allegedly admitted to his ex-wife that he was the one who had killed Jepsy.

On April 3rd of this year, Dane’s ex-wife worked with the Colorado Springs Police Department to record a phone call between her and Dane.
An arrest affidavit says that Dane admitted to “grabbing” Jepsy. “It looked like I did some damage and I freaked out and it looked like she was suffering,” Dane allegedly said on the call.
Dane then allegedly explained to his ex-wife that he put Jepsy’s body in the trunk of his car and after he got off of work, he drove along some back roads and dug a grave for her.
“I like said goodbye to her before I put her in there and tried to apologize a million times,” he allegedly told his ex-wife.
Dane was arrested and charged with first-degree murder, but Jepsy’s body has yet to be found.
