Kat (@kat.theestallion on TikTok) says that some people think it’s hard out there for curvy girls to find love, but she hasn’t had a difficult time finding men who are interested in her.
Admittedly, some of them are incredibly weird, and her cousin recently jogged her memory about the worst first date she ever went on, which involved a man who called her a flop. The date was so embarrassing, and it happened four years ago.
Kat met the guy on a dating app and spent a long time talking to him, which made her feel safe enough to go out on a first date with him. They planned to go see a movie, and when he came to pick her up, he was 45 minutes late.
“Mind you, tickets are pre-bought. Baby, the movies don’t wait for you. So, when he gets there, I noticed he was in the same exact outfit he was wearing yesterday morning when we were on FaceTime, and I was like, you know what, whatever,” Kat explained.
“Some people don’t sweat. I don’t know…I open that door, I look down, and there’s just a sea of trash. And baby, look, I’m a serial drive-thru goer; I love getting me a little drink, a little Dunkin’ before my workout class, or whatever, but when I mean I had to kick this trash out of the way to get in this car, like I put it on anything you love, I swear to God.”
Kat was already feeling so uneasy, and she was irritated with him for being so late. When he opened his mouth and started talking, Kat was hit with such a disgusting smell that she figured he had to have a bad tooth.
His breath smelled like his mouth was decaying. So, there Kat was, driving in a gross, stinky, trash mobile, and since the guy didn’t have speakers in his car, he pulled out his phone to play music between them.
He was a terrible driver, with one hand on the wheel and one on his phone. Kat was concerned that they would not even make it to the movie alive.
Kat’s date then began complaining to her about how the movie theater was 15 minutes away. By the time they got there, the movie had already started. Not wanting to offend the guy, Kat did not leave.
They sat down to watch the movie, and Kat just wanted to go home. Kat got up to buy some candy from the concession stand, and then this guy started getting touchy-feely and hinting that he wanted some of the candy.
He actually asked her if he could have the rest of it, and he devoured the enormous bag of candy. When the movie was done, Kat agreed to get food with him, but he said it had to be somewhere close by.
Kat was confused about all of the awkward limitations this guy was putting on their date, which made her wonder if he didn’t have enough money to even take her out.
They drove to Chick-fil-A, walked in, and placed their orders. This guy told Kat he wasn’t paying for her food because he only had “me money.” Kat was ready to die of humiliation, and this guy ordered $20 worth of food.
When they were done eating (yes, Kat had to pay for her own food), they hopped back in his car, and Kat had a bad feeling he wanted to hook up with her. There was no way she was down for any of that.
Next, this guy asked Kat if she wanted to play paddy cake in his car. Luckily, Kat’s cousin was on the way to rescue her and was about five minutes out.
Kat declined to play paddy cake, and this guy asked her if she knew a park they could go to, along with a wink. Kat knew the area quite well but pretended not to.
“He’s like so mad…he looks at me and goes, ‘You’re a flop.’…it was horrible,” Kat added. Just then, Kat’s cousin rolled up with five of her friends packed into her car and said they had to hurry up and leave because their aunt was in the hospital.
This man was furious while asking if he could go to the hospital too. Kat said it was a family matter, so she had to go alone.
Later on, Kat shockingly found out this guy had a boyfriend, so she reached out to the boyfriend to tell him that the guy had taken her out on a date.
