Her husband also pointed out to her that she should be grateful that her sister is so ready to stick up for her.
Since her wedding, she has done everything to get her mother-in-law to like her, and she’s concerned her sister could jeopardize that.
She knows it was not ok that her mother-in-law wore white to her wedding and went so far as to trash her too, but it is something that occurred 2 years ago at this point.
Things really have gotten better with her mother-in-law, and she even ended up naming her baby girl after her mother-in-law.
Her mother-in-law also supported her throughout her pregnancy, attended doctor visits with her, helped shop for the baby, and had a baby shower for her too.
Her mother-in-law has redeemed herself in her eyes, and now they really don’t have any conflicts or issues.
“I know my sister can overreact sometimes that is why I told her to not do it again as I am building a relationship with my husband’s only family,” she continued.
“My sister and I are best friends so I know her more than anyone else she can be a little overprotective but she always does it out of love.”
She’s planning on apologizing to her sister for being so furious with her and hoping they can smooth things over.
