Many people feared the worst since the car seat was found, but Serenity was not in it.

Deputies then tried to reach Jordan on his phone, but he wasn’t picking up, so they took to social media to ask the public to help look for him and his daughter.
Hours after the Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s Office posted that first statement, they revealed that Jordan and Serenity were thankfully found safe.
“We are pleased to be able to report that Jordan and Serenity have been located safe at an address in the city of Fond du Lac,” Sheriff Ryan F. Waldschmidt shared in an update.
“Myself and Lamartine Fire Chief Joe Birschbach would like to extend sincere appreciation to the over 100 emergency personnel from multiple agencies who participated in the search for Jordan and Serenity, and want to thank all of the citizens who provided tips and information.”
