He Was Brutally Honest When He Told His Mom’s Friend Why He Would Never Date Her Daughter And He’s Asking The Internet If He Should’ve Been Nicer

Carla was relentless though, and she kept at him about taking her daughter out, going so far as to ask when he could be free.

He really did his best to downplay the situation, but Carla wouldn’t quit. Fed up, he set her straight.

“Well, I’m not really into girls that don’t have a job and have addiction problems,” he finally said.

Carla lost it on him, calling him rude. He ended up leaving, and then his mom called him. She feels he could have been nicer and the way he handled things was rude since Carla wasn’t trying to be mean.

His mom continued to say he acted like a snob and a jerk, and he’s wondering if he should have done things differently.

Here’s what the internet had to say.

“We need to have the Fleetwood Mac song “Oh Well” playing on this post. The famous line from the song is “Don’t ask me what I think of you, Might not give the answer that you want me to.”

“It’s a great song too so check it out. I agree dating someone who knows has a drug issue is never a good idea. Never.”

“And like, addiction aside, it’s not the job of a relationship, let alone a specific person in a relationship to fix someone.”
